Realize our magnitude of our debt to Swamy ManavalaMamunigal:



Everyone knew that our Bhooloka Vaikundam ,Srirangam was facing the consequences of the Muslim invasion that took place in the early 14th century. It was structurally dilapidated, sacramentally bare, intellectually barren and spiritually, socially and morally corrupted.

 Misuse of rights, corruption and disorder were rampant. Our beloved acharyan swamy ManavalaMamunigal had to exert tremendous effort and bring to force with Swamis Nishtai ,  divinely inspired organizational skills to restore the original glory for daily sacramental and festival procedures at SriRangam, without affecting our Srivaishnavas who were functioning in different capacities at that point in time.

 Our beloved Varavaramuni swamy realized the importance of bringing the focus back to the essential tenets of our core SriVaishNavam and achieved the objective by bringing to fore scholarly works of Acharyas that had been pushed into the background. As a matter of natural consequence from swami’s commitment, devotion, Swamy was put in charge of everyday temple administration as well as anointed the leader for all SriVaishnavas of his period.


The Muslim occupation plunged SriRangam and its associated community to pathetic depths, and if today we are able to enjoy(having the Bhogiyam ) of our very beloved Lord at Arangam Sri Ranganathan, it is because of our beloved paramaAcharyan Swami Manavalamamunighal has made it possible.

Every Srivaishnava must realize this. Our swami  Pillai UllagaA Siriyan (Swami Pillai Lokachariyaar) and Our Visadavak sikamani (Swami ManavalaMamunigal) are responsible for flourishing (and pillars like) for our Sampradhayam. If we wouldn't have both the above great acharyas, then this world would be in complete DARK.

 
Let us familiarize ourselves with the magnitude of our debt to Swamy Sri Manavalamamunigal by recalling his services in the context of the turbulent times during his period.
