Sloka Meaning:
For a Sri Vaishnava who has taken refuge with a true acharya, receiving even the greatest of gifts is extremely easy. The
attributes of such a Sri Vaishnava have been described in many ways.
But here are few most important, Such a person:
· Must abandon the threefold pride of wealth, birth, and knowledge;
· Must not have interest in wealth and worldly pleasures;
· Must have great affection for all living beings
. Must have conquered desire and anger.
. And most important "Must have great Acharya prati-bhakti".
Such a person truly belongs to Adiyar Kuzham of Swami Manavaala Maamunigal. The above expresses these thoughts and prays for eternal connection with such people( VaravaraMuni Adiyar Kuzham or VaraVaraMuni Sambandhis ) .
Our Swami Manavaala Maamunigal was born in the Dvayam mantra, was reared on the Dvayam mantra, and remained firmly rooted in the Dvayam mantra. We are extremely glad and fortunate to be a part of our 'Adiyar Kuzham', 'VaraVaraMuni Sambandhis' with our great acharya's descent.
Our Swami Manavaala Maamunigal has done us the great service for our entire sampradhAyam of taking Vedic teachings which are difficult to understand and conveying them in a manner in which even those who don't have Nayanam or ignorant of Sanskrit (like Adiyen)can appreciate.
It is said:
sEtruk kamala vayal soozharangar tam seer tazhaippa
pOtrit tozhum nal andanar vaazhvippootalatte
maatratra sempon manavaala maamuni vandilanel
aatril karatta puni allavo tamizhaaraname

Meaning is as follows:
If our Manavaala Maamunigal had not appeared in this world, the sweet utterances of the Alzhwars and their meanings would have dissolved and disappeared like tamarind in a flowing river. Therefore, the avataara of Swami Manavaala
Maamunigal is a source of glory for us. His golden, lotus feet are our wealth, are the only source of attaining Sriman NArayanan.
It is not even necessary for anyone to go through the sanskrit prabandhams to learn about acharya nishtai, just one paasuram is enough.

Meaning: Oh! The people of this world, if you at least get the Bhagiyam of Placing the divine Lotus feet of our Swamy manavala mAmunivan on your head here, then we are sure to be touched by the hands of amAnavan(amAnavan Engira Divya Purushan). This is the only way to attain Moksha Ubhayam.
